Overview
The Integrated Producer independently leads the entire production process of complex briefs from initial briefing to final delivery, ensuring projects meet strategic KPIs (key performance indicators), deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. They act as the client\’s subject matter expert, providing guidance on efficient delivery solutions and addressing any queries.
On global projects the integrated producer will be orchestrating end-to-end production, working closely with external creative agencies and production consultants in a mainly supervisory role. Additionally, the Integrated Producer ensures that operational standards are maintained, proactively anticipating, and troubleshooting production issues, and implementing risk mitigation policies to ensure smooth project execution.
Responsibilities
Team Management and Collaboration
- Foster a motivated work environment and collaborate with production hubs, creative agencies, and external partners.
- Lead all the meetings with internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate ability to manage and mentor Producers when necessary.
Budgeting and Financial Oversight
- Prepare cost estimates, negotiate with suppliers, and manage approval with client.
- Control budgets, ensuring expenditures stay within limits.
Project Management
- Lead daily operations, prepare, and maintain schedules, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Manage logistics, including booking crew, and scheduling client meetings.
- Identify and address process gaps for efficiency.
Client Communication
- Responsible for building critical relationships with clients.
- Manage client and Mars Regional Operations and Regional Client Production Lead expectations with timely and accurate documentation.
- Build trust with clients by ensuring seamless delivery of creative assets.
- Provide regular status reports on project progress to both client and Mars Regional Client Production Lead.
Pre-Production
- Ensure availability of all creative elements prior to the shoot.
- Monitor edits for adherence to briefs and quality standards.
- Ensure all outputs meet client requirements and industry standards.
Shoot
- Manage all participant of the shoot — crew, agency, client etc.
- Ensure that the creative vision is being adhered to.
- Troubleshoot production problems, implementing risk mitigation policies.
Post-Production
- Attend approval sessions, manage budget and timeline changes, and provide creative input.
- Oversee final quality checks and client submissions.
- Manage the preparation of final materials, including rights and clearance.
Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with the Mars Regional Operations Lead to streamline processes and create efficiencies.
- Stays on top of industry trends and utilizes expertise and passion for production to inspire and educate agency creative’s product.
- Demonstrate leadership traits by proactively looking for ways to contribute to the culture of the Production.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize performance and achieve KPIs.
Sustainable Production
- In partnership with the Mars Regional Operations Lead champion sustainable production and oversee the implementation of ESG practices.
- Work with the Mars Client Production Lead and the client to align on ESG related KPIs and track tangible results.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in an agency or production house.
- Able to manage projects/productions from £500k+.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Initiative-taking, resourceful, and solution-oriented.
- Team player with strong relationship-building skills.
- Experience mentoring or managing junior team members.
- Highly organized, thorough, and capable of multitasking.
- Ownership and accountability for projects, maintaining high standards.
- Strong financial acumen with proficiency in forecasting and managing budgets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, anticipating issues, implementing effective solutions, and handling challenging situations with tact.
