We are seeking an experienced and strategically minded Production Planner to play a key role in shaping and delivering end‑to‑end campaign production for Mars Pet Nutrition Europe, working closely with Global and Regional Orchestration agency teams, as well as Groupe agency partners. The Production Planner is instrumental in ensuring that production for each campaign is efficient, effective, and designed to minimise unnecessary new origination at market level.
Responsibilities:
- Production Planners are accountable for the successful completion of each regionally assigned project.
- Be the client’s subject matter expert, assisting with any queries and advising how best to ensure production requests are delivered the most efficiently and to the highest quality based on the model KPIs.
- Work directly with production teams for seamless delivery of regional market production requirements and expectations of project objectives, timelines and budgets while contributing to the KPI performance.
- Work in close partnership with Global teams, Integrated Production Architects and Operations to align campaign production strategy and delivery across markets.
- Support and oversee a pool of Project Managers delivering lower‑funnel and adaptation work, setting clear direction and standards while retaining senior oversight of complex production activity.
- Influence production design and origination decisions, identifying opportunities to reduce duplication, maximise reuse, and improve efficiency across markets.
- Facilitate production financials led by the production lead (producer) – including accurate estimating, billing and reconciling jobs, requesting POs, creating 3rd party POs, notifying client of any additional charges/overages prior to producing work.
- Maintain accountability for budgets, timelines, and quality, working closely with Producers to manage estimates, financials, and governance.
- Identifying any process gaps and solutioning for efficiencies throughout the production workflow.
- Overseeing QC and ingest into streamline, ensuring all output meets client requirements, has been through QC and client approved before final release to media.
- Deep understanding of our KPIs and responsible for ensuring the KPIs are met.
- Responsible for managing day-to-day projects – crafting/conducting performance reviews and ensuring team is engaged/motivated.
Qualifications:
- 7–10 years of experience in a Production, Account Service, Project Management environments within marketing / advertising agency environment.
- Creative agency and client management experience.
- Able to handle challenging situations and act appropriately.
- Familiar with all broadcast software and programs (Adobe/Microsoft/Google).
- Strong collaborative interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience working in complex environments / navigating multi-level partners.
- Committed to high‑quality output and service, with an eye for detail.
- Resourceful / Solutions Oriented.
- Pro‑active.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Confident in verbal and written communications with the ability to add valuable input at face‑to‑face meetings with clients (onsite or offsite).
