We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to provide cover for our in-house cleaning service at our offices in Coleford.

This is a flexible, casual position where hours are offered as required to support service needs. You will play an important role in helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for employees, visitors and customers.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Property and Estates Manager, your duties will include:

  • Cleaning offices and internal building areas to a high standard.
  • Maintaining reception areas, offices, kitchens, corridors, stairwells, toilets and shower facilities.
  • Vacuuming, mopping and carrying out general cleaning tasks.
  • Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, paper towels and kitchen supplies.
  • Safely using cleaning equipment and cleaning products in accordance with COSHH guidance.
  • Reporting low stock levels, faulty equipment or maintenance concerns.
  • Following health and safety procedures and safe systems of work at all times.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has an understanding of health and safety requirements within a cleaning environment, including awareness of COSHH.
  • Takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Is proactive, reliable and customer focused.
  • Can work independently and manage their time effectively.
  • Has good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Is flexible, thorough and hardworking.
  • Can follow instructions and work with minimum supervision.
  • Previous cleaning experience.

Additional Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Access to a vehicle and ability to travel for work purposes.

Flexibility to work additional hours and at alternative locations when required to meet service needs.
