The Stadium Announcer (Public Address Announcer) will play a key role in delivering a professional, engaging, and welcoming matchday experience for supporters attending Wrexham AFC Women fixtures at The Rock Stadium.
The role is responsible for delivering clear and energetic stadium announcements before, during, and after matches while helping create a positive atmosphere that reflects the identity and ambition of the club.
The post holder will support matchday operations through effective communication, supporter engagement, and the delivery of important operational and health & safety announcements.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver stadium announcements before, during, and after Women’s First Team fixtures.
- Introduce teams, match officials, special guests, and key matchday information.
- Announce goal scorers, substitutions, added time, and other match updates.
- Deliver sponsor, commercial, and club promotional messages where required.
- Atmosphere & Supporter Experience
- Help create an engaging and family-friendly atmosphere at The Rock.
- Use energy, personality, and professionalism to enhance the supporter experience.
- Support pre-match build-up and fan engagement activities.
- Welsh Language & Club Identity
- Deliver announcements in both Welsh and English where appropriate.
