Dover Athletic Football Club is looking for a confident, creative, and highly organised individual to take charge of our matchday atmosphere. As the voice of Crabble and the organiser of supporter engagement activities, you’ll play a key role in shaping the matchday experience for fans of all ages.
The Role
- Acting as the stadium PA announcer for all home fixtures
- Making safety announcements, team news updates, and general ground and match information
- Managing pre‑match, half‑time, and post‑match entertainment
- Organising supporter events during games, including on‑pitch competitions and fan‑focused activities
- Coordinating music playlists and matchday presentation
- Working closely with club staff, volunteers, and media teams
- Ensuring all announcements are accurate, timely, and compliant with league regulations
Hours of Work
This is a matchday‑based role requiring availability for:
- Saturday home fixtures
- Tuesday evening home fixtures
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who brings personality, professionalism, and passion. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- A clear, confident speaking voice and strong microphone presence
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- A flair for entertainment, fan engagement, and live presentation
- Good knowledge of football culture (non‑league experience is a bonus)
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team
- Reliability and consistent availability for home matchdays
Desirable Skills
- Experience in live announcing, radio, events, or performance
- Audio/music management skills (e.g., playlists, sound desks)
