We're looking for a passionate Community Safety professional who is ambitious to create solutions, tackle community issues and improve the lives of residents, including the coordination of the work of the West Oxfordshire Community Safety Partnership (CSP). This is an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with a wide range of agencies including police, local authorities, voluntary organisations and community groups.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies, analysing crime data, delivering prevention initiatives and ensuring the Council meets its statutory responsibilities relating to community safety. The role will take a strategic approach and develop strong partnerships so as to improve community safety and reduce the fear of crime in communities.
Your contribution will be to develop strong relationships with a wide variety of partners across the Community Safety Partnership to jointly create and oversee an action plan and enable the delivery of key interventions around priorities such as Domestic Abuse and Antisocial behaviour. You will operate strategically and be the subject matter expert for the Council with a focus on finding ways to prevent and reduce crime and increase feelings of safety in West Oxfordshire.
