Were looking for an Insurance Officer to join our shared insurance service, supporting Gloucestershire County Council, Cheltenham Borough Council, Cotswold District Council, Forest of Dean District Council, West Oxfordshire District Council and Ubico. This is an opportunity to play a key role in protecting organizations from insurable risks while delivering a high-quality, responsive and professional insurance service, covering a very broad spectrum of services the insurance role will include fleet, property and public liability across areas such as waste collection, the Fire service and social care. The team is looking for someone who can help improve the processes within services to avoid accidents occurring, who can guide the inspection and recording procedures in place in assist in the defense of claims and can drive down costs. Ideally you will have experience and a strong understanding of insurance principles, liability claims and risk management within the public sector.
