We are looking for a proactive and organised Procurement Administrator to join the Procurement Team at Publica Group Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of procurement and administrative activities across our partner organisations and clients. As a key member of the team, you will provide comprehensive administrative support and help ensure procurement processes are compliant, efficient and delivered to high professional standards.

Some of your responsibilities:

  • Providing a comprehensive administrative service to the Publica Procurement Team
  • Assisting in the production of periodic statistical data and returns for Government departments and external bodies, including benchmarking data
  • Assisting in the implementation of innovative procurement practices, policies and procedures in line with Council Contract Procedure Rules (CPRs) and procurement legislation
  • Supporting spend analysis on goods and services using Agresso ERP and other tools, applying category management techniques to drive efficiency and cost reduction
  • Monitoring and actioning correspondence and documentation via the E-procurement portal to meet strict deadlines

You will need:

  • Qualifications equivalent to NVQ Level 1 or GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • A natural and engaging communication style
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with data and using IT systems

Special Conditions:

  • Use of a car for work purposes
  • BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard check)
