We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Private Sector Housing Officer to join our team. This role is central to improving housing standards across the private sector through a combination of advice, inspection, regulation, and enforcement.
In the role of Private Sector Housing Officer you will play a key role in regulating landlord and tenant matters, overseeing Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs), and managing caravan and campsite licensing. Your work will directly contribute to safeguarding public health and improving living conditions within the community. You can make a real difference to people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:- Deliver a comprehensive Private Sector Housing service, including housing standards, HMOs, and licensing of caravans and campsites

- Support initiatives to bring empty homes back into use
- Develop and improve procedures to enhance service delivery
