The Workshop / Parts Coordinator role sits within the Fleet Team at Ubico.

This role is key in supporting front line service delivery ensuring vehicles are maintained in an efficient and cost effective manner and that our clients receive a high quality service for all their vehicle maintenance needs, whilst ensuring minimum downtime.

You will be required to manage the allocation and control of all Ubico owned and third party stock, ensuring optimum levels on hand to enable the workshop to undertake inspections, maintenance and repairs efficiently.

Ubico operates a diverse fleet of vehicles including heavy goods, light commercial vehicles and plant, so a good knowledge of obtaining parts at a competitive price from various supply chains is imperative.

We have a dedicated and professional team and this is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Workshop & Parts Coordinator to join us as we progress to the next level.

We need the successful candidate to demonstrate key strengths in accurate stock control and tenacity in parts procurement in a challenging market whilst working to tight deadlines.

The post holder will also be required to manage the workflow between the administration team and workshop supervisors, ensuring clear and concise communication between all parties, with the ability to think outside the box.

The post holder will be required assist the workshop supervisors in ensuring the workshops are running smoothly at all times.

Transferring work orders into Ubico’s Fleet Management System (FMS), ensuring accurate and efficient data entry to allow effective reporting including vendor supply chain and vehicle cost analysis across the fleet.

  • You will need
  • Full, valid, Class B UK Driving Licence with appropriate own vehicle insurance for the role.
  • Knowledge of plant and machinery parts procurement.
  • Experience of HGV product ranges
  • Able to work using own initiative as well as working as part of a team with a friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic outlook, whilst working to strict deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
  • Have an understanding of automotive product ranges with experience in a similar role.
