As an Accommodation Coordinator, you’ll support customers living in temporary accommodation, helping to ensure their stay is well managed and supporting them as they move towards long-term housing solutions. About the role...
This is not just an administrative role; it’s about supporting people at a key moment in their lives and helping services run smoothly behind the scenes. As a Housing Solutions Accommodation Coordinator, you’ll work across temporary accommodation settings, supporting both customers and the wider Housing Solutions team to deliver practical, person-centred outcomes. This includes:
- Meeting and supporting customers, including those in vulnerable situations
- Carrying out room checks to ensure safety, welfare and appropriate use of accommodation
- Supporting customers with benefit checks, applications and preparing for move-on to permanent housing
- Updating systems and maintaining accurate records
- Carrying out visits to other accommodation settings such as hostels, hotels
