As a key member of the team, you will help ensure our recruitment processes run efficiently from interview through to offer stage. You will be the person who keeps things organised behind the scenes while also being a helpful and professional point of contact for candidates and colleagues.
While the primary focus of this role will be supporting the later stages of the recruitment process, the successful candidate will also be expected to step in and support the wider recruitment team during busy periods. This is a highly reactive role, so being a proactive team player who can assist across all areas of recruitment when needed is essential to help keep processes running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the final stages of the recruitment process, including sending offer emails to successful candidates
- Checking candidate documentation to ensure everything is complete and accurate before passing them onto our Onboarding team
- Answering and managing the Recruitment phone line, supporting candidates and internal colleagues with queries
- Monitoring shared recruitment inboxes and responding to queries where possible
- Supporting Recruiters with interview scheduling when required
- Providing general administrative support to help keep recruitment processes running smoothly
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Confident communicating with people both internally and externally
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Comfortable speaking with candidates and hiring managers
- Proactive and willing to support the wider recruitment team where needed
- Detail-oriented, particularly when checking documentation
This is a hybrid role, with a mix of working from home and from our offices in Cirencester, so you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance.
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to play a key role in supporting recruitment operations, we would love to hear from you.
You will need
- Proven experience in an administrative or recruitment support role, preferably within a shared service or multi-organisation environment.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and compliance processes.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to liaise professionally with candidates and stakeholders.
Special Conditions
- Full UK Driving Licence and use of a car for work purposes
- BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard check)/DBS Check
What we can do for you
- Agile working allowing a mix of home and office working
- Flexible working arrangements (depending on the role)
- 27 days paid annual leave (pro rata if you are working part time) plus bank holidays and an extra two volunteering days off a year for you to support a charity of your choice
- Health cash plan giving you cash back on health, dental and eye care
- Pension scheme with a good employer contribution of up to 7% of your earnings
- Employee Assistance Programme 24/7, providing positive, preventative and supportive advice and counselling to deal with everyday events and issues
- Cycle to work scheme
- Salary sacrifice car lease scheme with significant tax and NI savings to be made on electric cars
- Generous sickness cover above statutory entitlements
- Additional income protection, covering 50% of your salary for potentially a further five years if you are unable to work due to sickness or injury
- Life assurance, currently four times your annual salary
