We are looking for a highly organised Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of Accounts Payable activities, which we provide on behalf of our end customers, thereby supporting excellent service to colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you will support the processing and verification of financial data, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive, team-focused approach, with the ability to manage deadlines and resolve queries effectively.
Some of your responsibilities:
- Provide support for Accounts Payable activities
- Liaise with our end customers for whom the service is provided
- Process, validate, and check financial data with a high level of accuracy
- Respond promptly to customer, supplier, and colleague enquiries
- Assist in the processing of invoices, credit notes, and related documentation
- Maintain accurate records and always ensure data integrity
You will need:
- Qualifications equivalent to NVQ Level 1 or GCSEs in Maths and English
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to support others
- Strong customer service skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
