HR Advisor/Senior Advisor

Senior HR Advisor - 6 Month FTC Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract ASAP - immediate availability required Parking: Free on-site parking I am delighted to be partnering with an organisation in the healthcare/science sector to recruit a Senior HR Advisor on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional with a strong Employee Relations and change management background to join a small, collaborative HR team and make an immediate impact. Reporting closely into the Senior HR Manager, you will provide a comprehensive HR advisory service across the organisation, supporting managers and employees across a broad range of operational HR and Employee Relations matters. Advising managers on employment legislation, policies and best practice. Building constructive relationships with Trade Union representatives. Supporting managers with sickness absence and performance management. Contributing to the development and review of HR policies and procedures. Delivering HR training and guidance to managers on areas including recruitment, performance management, absence and capability. Working collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver a high-quality HR service. We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor who can hit the ground running and operate confidently with a high degree of autonomy. Significant experience working as an HR Advisor or equivalent. Strong and demonstrable Employee Relations experience . The confidence to advise and coach managers on complex HR matters. Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills. Experience with Oracle HRIS and Trak recruitment software would also be advantageous, although this is not essential. You will join a small HR function of five, comprising the Chief People Officer, HR Manager, HR Advisor and HR Administrator , supporting an organisation of approximately 40 employees.
