We’re looking for a proactive and compassionate HR professional to play a vital role in helping colleagues settle successfully into new roles following a recent restructure. This is a highly operational role where you’ll combine practical HR expertise with a genuine commitment to helping others thrive. Working closely with managers and employees, you’ll ensure that everyone going through a trial period has the guidance, training and support they need to make a positive transition.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing hands-on HR support to managers overseeing employee trial periods.
- Ensuring compliance with policies on suitable alternative employment, while keeping people at the heart of every process.
- Maintaining accurate reporting and tracking progress through spreadsheets and regular updates.
- Following up with employees and managers to ensure timely completion of documentation and feedback.
- Making sure colleagues on trial periods receive the right support, training and encouragement to succeed.
- Working closely with and reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience supporting restructures, trial periods, or suitable alternative employment processes.
- A strong operational HR background with excellent attention to detail and confident reporting skills.
- Someone who is approachable, organised and able to build trusted relationships across all levels.
- Comfortable with data and reporting, but equally motivated by seeing people grow and succeed.
- Experience within the non-profit or housing sector is highly desirable, though we’re open to applications from all backgrounds.
