On behalf of AWE, we are looking for an Organisational Intelligence Lead for a 12-month contract working on a hybrid basis with an expectation of 2 days attendance in the Green Park, Reading office.
AWE plays a crucial role in national nuclear security. Their role in nuclear deterrence and their specialist technical assistance to nuclear threat reduction is vital in the defence against the most serious threats faced by the UK. Working to support the defence of our country, AWE has a clear mission to keep everyone, the environment, their products and information, sites, and everything around them, safe and secure.
Key Accountabilities
- Organisational Health Metrics: Develop and maintain key metrics to measure organisational health and people KPI reporting.
- Strategic Insights: Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the Executive and senior leadership based on insights, data analysis, benchmarking and trends.
- Organisational Modelling: Develop and implement organisational models that optimise structure, processes, and workflows to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Solution Development: Create and deploy innovative solutions across the organisation to address organisational challenges and improve effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to support organisational health initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute organisational models and strategies to improve enterprise organisational health.
- Utilise advanced analytics to improve organisational health. Triangulate data sources, identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Transform data into intelligence that informs business-wide decision-making.
- Own the business principles and be a subject matter expert.
- Work closely with the Executive, HR, leadership, and other stakeholders to align organisational health initiatives with business goals.
- Ensure the delivery and professional presentation of reports on organisational health metrics to senior leadership. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
- Manage an agile service that allows the business to access people data and insight promptly.
- Monitor the effectiveness of initiatives and services and make data-driven continuous improvement adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Provide a diagnostic service to the business to highlight opportunities, identify problems and offer solutions.
Essential
- SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role; as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks.
- Degree and professional expertise in data analysis, research, and turning complex data into actionable intelligence.
- Experience line managing and developing a high performing analytics or insights team.
- Experienced in handling large datasets, benchmarking, and applying robust controls, protocols, and governance.
- Advanced technical capability, including expert-level Excel and proficiency with Power BI, Workday, and workforce analytics tools.
- Proven ability to deliver insights, reports, and recommendations to C suite and senior leadership audiences.
- Background working within a large, complex organisation with multiple stakeholders and data environments.
Desirable
- Experience of using Foundry.
- Experience of handling and dealing with people data.
