On behalf of the Intellectual Property Office, we are looking for a Senior Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Developer (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract based Remote (occasional travel once per month to Newport Office). The IPO is a modern organisation that depends on its IT services to operate and innovate. We are seeking Senior Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Developers to help us build, maintain, and continuously improve our core applications. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality digital services, solving complex challenges and supporting our ongoing transformation journey.
In this role you will work within a multi-disciplined squad using several technologies to build enterprise grade services. You will be expected to be proactive and take accountability for the squad assigned deliveries. The role will also require investigation, diagnosis and fix of any system issues.
As a Senior Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Developer you will:
- Design, code, configure, test and document large, complex or mission critical applications in a cloud first environment using Dynamics 365 and Power Apps in MS Azure.
- Configure and customise both model-driven and canvas apps; Develop Power Automate Flows via connectors to the Dataverse and other data sources.
- Build PowerApps integrations with Azure components such as Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus and Functions.
- Work closely with test engineers to ensure quality, acceptance criteria and coverage and contribute to toolkits and APIs for integration, performance optimisation, security and scalability.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver highly user focused and successful digital services ensuring governance and security standards (ISO 27001, SPF) are met.
- Collaborate with IT and stakeholders, share knowledge and expertise with the wider team and champion a culture of learning, development and cross-team collaboration.
- Investigate problems and opportunities in existing processes, evaluating and communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Identify and manage defects, incidents, risks and issues in line with IPO standards.
Essential:
- Strong experience with MS Dynamics 365 CRM and PowerApps platform.
- Proficiency in C#, JavaScript and Typescript.
- Experience delivering solutions in an Azure cloud environment, including use of services such as Logic Apps, Service Bus, or Functions.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Key contributor in delivering technical solutions as part of large projects.
- Experienced with modern delivery models such as Scrum and other Agile methodologies.
- Advocate of DevOps principles.
Desirable:
- Experience with Unit Testing.
- Experience with Git or another source control tool.
- Experience with RESTful webservices.
- Understanding of architectural principles such as SOA and Microservices.
