On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Facilities Manager Inside IR35 for an 11‑months contract based in Corsham, working 3 days a week and travelling occasionally to Hawthorn, Colerne and Oakhanger.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Establishment (HOE) of UK MOD obligations and the delivery of the strategic real estate portfolio plan while ensuring operational, project management and tactical services are efficient and effective.
- Plan and coordinate FM activities to reflect wider strategic priorities.
- Submit and monitor Statements of Need for any required on‑site work and track progress against activity timelines.
- Support the HOE in upholding all security regulations and maintaining good working relationships with the MDP and Site Security Contractor.
- Ensure and maintain the management of all Health & Safety documentation and policy for the Head of Establishment and site partners.
Essential Qualifications
- Facility Management experience, including soft and hard FM.
- Experience with Health & Safety knowledge and/or IOSH.
- Previous knowledge in Defence assurance and governance.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- SC Clearance is essential; candidates must be willing and eligible to undergo checks.
Desirable Qualifications
- NEBOSH qualification.
- Experience with DIO.
- Planning application process experience.
- Knowledge of JSPs (375, 440 and 850 in particular).
