On behalf of DWP, we are looking for a ServiceNow Developer for a 12 month (Inside IR35) contract based Hybrid in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield.

Core Purpose

The Function Assessment Service (FAS) is undergoing ongoing implementation. This role will complete development work in this area and deliver business enhancements to the DWP Place offering to support the department in meeting its objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver new configuration and functionality to the ServiceNow Production instance in line with the DWP Software Delivery Lifecycle and DWP Place roadmap.
  • Complete assigned stories or elevate blockers to ensure development is delivered to expected standards and within agreed timescales.
  • Work with the Delivery Manager as an integral part of the ServiceNow Product Delivery Unit.
  • Collaborate with other members of the feature team and DWP internal teams and end user communities.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation.

Essential

  • Minimum 2 years of hands on development experience on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience building, configuring and implementing ServiceNow features, applications and integrations.
  • Experience of troubleshooting and resolving complex issues across an enterprise tooling infrastructure, individually or as part of a team.
  • Experience working in large scale organisations and/or Public Sector environments with ServiceNow implementations.
  • Experience of delivering solutions within an agile framework.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Angular, HTML, CSS.
  • ITIL Qualification or relevant experience/skills.
  • Current ServiceNow platform Certification.
