About the role
To provide administrative and operational support to the Talent Acquisition (TA) team, by carrying out routine recruitment tasks in line with established procedures, enabling the effective delivery of inclusive and compliant recruitment activity that attracts, recruits and onboards diverse talent, contributing to the successful delivery of the Commission's Plan for Growth.
Day-To-Day you will:
- Deliver complex technical/system implementation projects from initiation through to closure, ensuring scope, schedule, budget and benefits are achieved.
- Define and operate governance frameworks, including change control, risk management and quality assurance.
- Produce and maintain project schedules, RAID logs, highlight reports, and other core delivery artefacts.
- Work closely with technical colleagues (architecture, security, data) to ensure robust design, integrations and performance considerations.
- Collaborate with Finance teams to ensure accurate budget identification, tracking and reporting.
- Ensure benefits are identified, monitored and realised through transition to BAU.
- Lead multidisciplinary internal and supplier teams, setting clear expectations and holding contributors accountable.
- Shape and improve delivery methods, tools and templates across the PMO.
- Mentor colleagues and uplift project management capability across the organisation.
Who we're looking for
Qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills, either through formal qualifications (for example, GCSE English and Maths) or through practical work experience.
Experience
- Experience providing administrative support in a fast‑paced environment, ideally within recruitment or HR.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Curious mindset with the confidence to challenge existing processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with recruitment ATS or HR systems (for example, Trac or similar platforms).
- Proficient in using Microsoft applications, including MS Lists and Power BI.
- Aware of inclusive recruitment practices and HR processes, with a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Interest in or ability to use AI tools to enhance recruitment process.
