Test Manager in London

On behalf of the National Crime Agency, we are looking for a Test Manager (Inside IR35) for a 12 month hybrid contract based 1 day per week in London, Warrington, Birmingham or Bristol.

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks.

Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.

• Profile
• Testing Specialist responsible for performing testing of products and services against approved designs and scripts
• Testing Governance, for the project(s) including regular reporting, contribution to RAID logs, liaison with key stakeholders and presenting test results to governance boards for approval
• Ensuring testing artefacts are produced to time/quality/cost and ensuring that the testing achieves operational objectives
• Supplier Management, provide day to day management of suppliers(s) for all testing activities, responsible for signing off Supplier SOW(s) for testing activities as complete
• Ensure, the Programme manager and team are kept up to date on progress and escape any issues as required
• Working as part of a team, multitasking to ensure optimum business efficiency whilst managing competing deadlines regularly
• Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Highly experienced in creating and implementing Test Strategies across circa 50 Networks across the following categories:
• Enterprise IT
• Local Managed IT
• Other Government Departments.

• Ability to carry out and provide assurance on

• Testing of each network.
• Desk top testing, sign off and handover
• Management of the complexities of multiple networks across all three categories.
• Aligning the test strategy to meet required time line to service acceptance and RFC process.
• Production of test documents for testers to carry out
• Deliver 'snagging' process including logging of snags and rectification
• Ability to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
