On behalf of UK Parliament, we are looking for a Microsoft M365 and Copilot Specialist (Inside IR35) for a 7 month contract based hybrid in London.

Office attendance is 1 day a week.

Note that this role requires an Active SC clearance.

Role Profile

This role is a blend of Microsoft 365 platform administration, product ownership, 3rd line support, stakeholder engagement, governance and solution design.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving collaboration services, supporting business users, and driving adoption of Microsoft Copilot and Power Platform capabilities.

The position is ideal for a hands-on M365 professional with strong platform administration experience across Share Point Online, One Drive, Teams, Microsoft 365 Groups and Power Platform.

  • As a Microsoft M365 and Copilot Specialist, your main responsibilities will be to:
  • Administer, configure and support the Microsoft 365 collaboration suite, including Share Point Online, One Drive for Business, Microsoft Teams, Planner, Viva Engage, Stream and Microsoft 365 Groups.
  • Support and optimise Microsoft Copilot capabilities, ensuring users gain maximum value from AI-enabled productivity tools.
  • Provide 3rd line technical support, troubleshooting and resolving complex platform, configuration and user issues.
  • Analyse requirements and design collaboration solutions aligned with business needs and governance standards.
  • Manage platform provisioning, configuration, permissions and operational activities across the Microsoft 365 estate.
  • Develop and maintain Power Shell scripts to automate administration, reporting and support processes.
  • Support governance, compliance and best practice implementation across Microsoft 365 services.
  • Administer and support Power Platform solutions and services.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Monitor service performance and identify opportunities for continual improvement.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, standards and operational procedures.
  • Keep up to date with the Microsoft 365 roadmap and evaluate new features for business adoption.
  • Provide support, guidance and knowledge sharing to colleagues and team members where required.

Essential

  • Extensive experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments within medium to large enterprise organisations.
  • Practical experience supporting, configuring, and administering Microsoft Copilot.
  • Strong Power Shell scripting and automation capabilities.
  • Experience administering and supporting Microsoft Power Platform services.
  • Demonstrable experience configuring, operating, and optimising Microsoft 365 collaboration and productivity services.

Desirable

  • Experience working with Microsoft Copilot adoption, governance, and optimisation.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 roadmap, emerging features, and best practices.
