On behalf of Sellafield, we are looking for a Security Architect X3 (Outside IR35) for a 12 Month contract based Hybrid in Warrington. Work at Sellafield Ltd, and you're not just building a career. Responsibilities

  • End‑to‑end production and formal approval of technical and procedural control standards fully aligned to NIST 800‑53.
  • Work closely with technical SMEs, system owners, and governance teams to ensure that every control is practical, unambiguous, and aligned with existing processes, or clearly highlights where new processes need to be introduced.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that each standard is developed collaboratively, reviewed thoroughly, and approved through recognised governance mechanisms.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Cyber Governance Boards, Senior Information Risk Owners (SIROs), and technical leadership, ensuring that control standards are not only approved but also widely understood and supported.
  • Embed Gov Assure principles into the control standards ensures that Sellafield maintains compliance with government expectations, is prepared for future assurance assessments, and demonstrates an ongoing commitment to continuous improvement in cyber maturity.

Essential

  • Must be experienced within IT and OT environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • SAP Experience.

Desirable

  • SCADA experience.
  • Experience working within Azure.
  • Active Security Clearance.
