On behalf of the Cabinet Office, we are looking for a Senior Information Manager (MS365) (Inside IR35/PAYE) for a 12‑month contract based Remote with occasional travel. The Cabinet Office supports the Prime Minister and ensures the effective running of government. It also acts as the corporate headquarters for the government in partnership with HM Treasury and takes the lead in certain critical policy areas. SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role; a minimum of willingness and eligibility to undergo checks is required. Due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short‑term nature and speed of placement), preference may be given to candidates who meet all essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Management and delivery of Information and Records Management services in MS365, supporting the CO through best practice, policy development, planning, performance, service delivery and governance.
- Set direction and best practice as the CO's Corporate Information Manager for MS365, including site creation, permissions, retention capability and records management.
- Collaborate with the Digital Training Team to develop and deliver Information and Records‑Management training, guidance and best practice, focusing on MS365.
- Provide specialist advice on managing all aspects of the CO's corporate record within the CO's MS365 system across the records lifecycle (review, retention, business classification, archive and destruction).
- Provide specialist information advice identifying and managing areas of risk and improvement in support of the Head of DKIM and IT systems developments.
- Seek continuous service improvement for the performance of the information and records management services in MS365, conducting evaluations and making recommendations for improving processes and performance.
