Digital Programme Manager in Swindon

On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Digital Programme Manager (Inside IR35) for a 2-year contract. This is a hybrid working role (three days per week onsite - Salisbury). Job Purpose: There is a requirement for L8 Programme Manager to be accountable for the successful delivery of the New 'Digital Suppliers' contract. To provide leadership across a highly complex portfolio of interdependent digital transformation, contractual transition, business change and Defence integration activities.

The role will lead the delivery of outcomes associated with:

• NISSS contract replacement and transition activity.
• Strategic integration of Dstl services with Defence Digital and NAD Group.
• Delivery of a multi-domain transformation programme spanning:
• People
• Process
• Data
• Technology
• Cyber

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.

As a Digital Programme Manager, your main responsibilities will be the:

• Development and delivery of the Digital Integration roadmap through to 2029 and beyond.
• Alignment of integration activity with future NISSS contractual arrangements and operating models.
• The Programme Manager will maintain programme coherence, governance, benefits realisation, risk management and stakeholder engagement across Dstl, Defence Digital, MOD and external suppliers.
• The postholder will operate within a highly scrutinised environment with significant strategic visibility and dependency on Defence-wide transformation initiatives.

Essential:

• Leading large-scale complex transformation programmes.
• Delivery of strategic digital, IT and business change initiatives.
• Programme governance, assurance and benefits management.
• MOD or wider Government approvals and governance processes.
• Delivery of large-scale contracts valued at ~£400m+ lifetime costs.
• Delivery of major service transitions and operating model transformation.
• Experience comparable to large-scale mergers, acquisitions or enterprise integration programmes within the private sector.
• Supplier management and commercial negotiations within complex service environments.
• MSP, Prince2.

Desirable:

• Defence Digital engagement.
• Defence ICT services.
• NISSS or equivalent managed service environments.
• Cyber, data and technology transformation.
