The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 Β£ per year.
We are looking for a Project Support Officer (Inside IR35) for a 3 Month contract based in Mansfield (2 days per week on site). As a Project Support Officer, your main responsibilities will be:
- Supporting a Programme Delivery Office to enable operational project delivery for a public sector organisation.
- Providing day-to-day administrative and operational support to the team, including organising meetings, preparing agendas, recording minutes, and tracking actions through to completion.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for Project Managers in relation to Project Management Framework (PMF) documentation and supporting the set-up of project areas in accordance with the PMF.
- Maintaining robust document control (including version management, filing and archiving) and supporting compliance with governance requirements and project management frameworks.
- Supporting project initiation activities, including project coding and budget uplift requests, and assisting with the preparation of reports, business cases and presentations.
Essential:
- Proven experience providing administrative and operational support within a project, programme, PMO, or business support environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and track actions through to completion.
- Experience of document management and version control, including maintaining electronic filing systems, SharePoint libraries, and project documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Forms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders and produce clear reports, dashboards, and communications.
- Ability to work accurately and independently while ensuring compliance with governance processes, project management frameworks, and information management standards.
Desirable:
- Any recognised project management qualification or evidence of working towards this.
