We are currently recruiting for 2 Qualified Social Workers to join a Children Looked After / Court Team within a well-established local authority on a strong improvement journey. This is a non-case holding role within an Accelerated Permanence Team, offering a fantastic opportunity to focus on court work, permanence planning and achieving positive outcomes for children in care.

The Role

  • Work within a Court / LAC team supporting children in care
  • Contribute to court proceedings and permanency planning
  • Prepare high-quality reports and assessments
  • Work closely with multi-agency partners and legal teams
  • Support children, young people and families through the care process

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Experience within Children’s Social Care
  • Strong report writing and court work experience
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships
