Position: Gardener/Driver\\nLocation: Southwark\\nEmployment Type: Full time\\nSalary: 15.39/h\\nStart Date: 01/10/2025\\nOne of our client is looking for a committed and experienced Gardener/Driver to join their Parks and Grounds Maintenance team. This role involves maintaining public green spaces, parks, cemeteries, and other council-managed grounds while also supporting logistics and transport duties across the borough.\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n🌱 Gardening & Grounds Maintenance\\n * Carry out grounds maintenance including mowing, hedge trimming, strimming, weeding, and planting\\n * Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and lawns across public parks and council properties\\n * Operate and maintain horticultural machinery and tools safely and efficiently\\n * Support seasonal planting schemes and biodiversity efforts\\n🚛 Driving Duties\\n * Drive council vehicles to transport tools, equipment, and team members to various sites\\n * Deliver and collect materials or waste from designated locations\\n * Ensure vehicle checks are performed and maintenance records are up to date\\nEssential Requirements:\\n * Experience in horticulture, landscaping, or grounds maintenance\\n * Full, clean UK driving licence (IT'S A MUST!)\\n * Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions\\n * Basic knowledge of Health & Safety regulations\\n * Good communication and teamworking skills\\n * Physically fit and capable of manual work\\nDesirable:\\n * Horticulture qualification (e.g., RHS Level 2 or equivalent)\\n * Experience using ride-on mowers, strimmers, and other powered equipment\\n * Previous experience in a local authority or public sector environment\\nTo Apply:\\nPlease hit “Apply Now” or send your CV to Magdalena
