We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Adults Social Worker in the Primary Care Mental Health Team (PCMHT), that can demonstrate strong admin responsibilities. You will be required to have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks whilst working towards deadlines set. The PCMHT is a fast-paced front-door mental health service operated by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust with a multi-agency staff team including NHS, and voluntary sector staff. It offers a range of short-term interventions for adults of working age experiencing mental health difficulties. The social worker will act as a Mental Health Practitioner participating in the team\'s duty rota they will carry out holistic assessments and develop care plans as well as holding a small caseload and leading on adult safeguarding and Care Act assessments within the multi-disciplinary team. The Neighbourhood 3 PCMHT is based in Downham and offers excellent transport links and free local parking . The successful candidate will have: - A commitment to culturally-informed and anti-oppressive practice Substantial experience of adult mental health casework in a community mental health setting - Strong assessment and engagement skills - Understanding of strengths-based approaches to providing adult social care - A high level of knowledge of the social and clinical needs of adult with mental illness - Knowledge and experience of the assessment and management of risk in relation to mental health service-users - Substantial experience of working within the statutory framework of the CA 2014, MHA 1983 and MCA 2005 and carrying out statutory interventions - Strong awareness of adult safeguarding and experience of acting as an Enquiry Officer in S.42 enquiries - The ability to manage a caseload in an integrated multi-disciplinary service undertaking fast-moving casework and regular MDT duties on rota. - Experience of carrying out a range of assessments and psych-social interventions - Excellent written and oral communication skills If you feel you have the right skills, we would love to hear from you
