The Role

As Audit Partner, you’ll take overall responsibility for the delivery, quality and development of the audit offering. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs and larger groups
  • Acting as a trusted adviser to key clients, providing commercial insight and strategic support
  • Overseeing audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards
  • Providing leadership and direction to audit teams, including managers and senior staff
  • Playing an active role in business development, client retention and winning new work
  • Supporting firm-wide strategy, governance and leadership initiatives
  • Ensuring high standards of audit quality, risk management and technical excellence
  • Mentoring and developing future leaders within the audit team

About You

You will:

  • Be ACA or ACCA qualified with significant audit experience in practice
  • Currently operate at Partner, Director or Senior Audit Manager level
  • Have a strong technical understanding of UK auditing standards and FRS 102
  • Be confident managing senior client relationships and complex engagements
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, mentoring and people development skills
  • Be commercially minded with a proactive approach to business development
  • Have the credibility and ambition to contribute at partnership level
