The Role
- Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high‑quality accounts preparation, financial reporting and general practice services.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for SMEs and OMBs
- Preparing management accounts and financial reports
- Supporting clients with bookkeeping, VAT returns and cloud accounting software
- Liaising directly with business owners and key stakeholders
- Assisting with tax compliance in collaboration with internal specialists
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members
- Supporting workflow management and meeting deadlines
- Identifying opportunities to add value through advisory support
About You
- Be ACA or ACCA qualified, part‑qualified or qualified by experience
- Have recent UK accountancy practice experience
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation
- Be confident managing your own client portfolio
- Possess strong communication and organisational skills
- Have experience reviewing or supporting junior staff
