The Role

As Corporate Tax Senior, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality corporate tax services to a wide range of clients. You’ll manage your own portfolio, support junior staff, and contribute to advisory projects that add real value to your clients’ businesses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns.
  • Managing corporate tax compliance processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Assisting with advisory assignments, including business restructuring, acquisitions and disposals, R&D tax claims, and tax planning projects.
  • Liaising directly with clients to build strong, trusted relationships and provide expert advice.
  • Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members, supporting their professional growth.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in UK tax legislation and sharing knowledge within the team.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and add value to client relationships.

About You

You’ll be a motivated, technically strong, and client-focused tax professional who enjoys working as part of a dynamic team. You will:

  • Be ATT qualified as a minimum, ideally CTA qualified or studying towards qualification.
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in corporate tax within an accountancy practice.
  • Possess excellent technical knowledge of corporate tax compliance.
  • Have exposure to, or a strong interest in, tax advisory work.
  • Be confident in managing a client portfolio and communicating directly with business owners and finance teams.
  • Be highly organised, proactive, and detail-orientated.
  • Enjoy collaborating with others and mentoring junior colleagues.
