The RoleYou will be responsible for managing audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to professional standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading audit engagements for a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors
- Planning audits, identifying key risk areas, and managing fieldwork
- Completing detailed testing and reviewing audit files for accuracy and compliance
- Supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts and supporting documentation
- Liaising directly with clients, addressing queries, and providing regular progress updates
- Reporting findings to managers and partners and contributing to audit conclusions
- Ensuring all work is delivered within agreed timescales and budgets

About YouYou’ll be a confident, motivated, and detail-oriented audit professional who enjoys taking ownership of assignments and working directly with clients. You will:
- Be ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent)
- Have experience working in a UK accountancy practice in an audit-focused role
- Possess strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
- Be confident in leading audits from planning to completion
- Demonstrate strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills
- Be capable of managing multiple deadlines and workloads
- Enjoy coaching junior team members and contributing to a positive team culture
- Be proactive, inquisitive, and committed to continuous improvement
