The Role
As Tax Partner, you’ll oversee the firm’s corporate tax function, providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and exceptional client service. This senior role combines hands-on advisory work with firmwide influence, giving you the scope to shape the future of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the corporate tax team, ensuring excellence across compliance and advisory services
- Advising clients on a wide range of corporate tax matters including M&A, reorganisations, international tax planning, R&D incentives, and share schemes
- Acting as a strategic advisor to business owners, boards, and finance directors on complex tax matters
- Overseeing large and technically challenging corporate tax projects

About You
You’ll be a commercially focused, technically strong corporate tax leader who combines deep technical knowledge with strategic insight. You will:
- Be CTA and/or ACA qualified, with extensive corporate tax experience gained in practice
- Have a proven track record advising corporate clients, including mid-market and larger businesses
- Demonstrate significant experience in advisory-led projects such as mergers, acquisitions, group reorganisations, and international structuring
- Be confident communicating complex technical matters in a clear, commercial way
- Show strong leadership skills and a passion for developing people
- Be proactive, adaptable, and capable of influencing senior stakeholders
- Be ambitious, collaborative, and motivated to contribute to firmwide growth
- Experience working with international tax, private equity clients, or group restructures would be advantageous.
