The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll take full ownership of your own client portfolio, managing all aspects of accounting and tax compliance while building trusted client relationships. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders

  • Ensuring all assignments are completed accurately and on time
  • Supporting process improvement and embracing cloud accounting technologies

About You

You’ll be a proactive and detail-focused accounting professional who enjoys variety and thrives in a client-facing role. You will:

  • Be ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
  • Have at least three years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice
  • Possess a strong understanding of UK accounting standards, corporation tax, and VAT
  • Be confident preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and financial statements
  • Have excellent communication and relationship-management skills
  • Be organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple clients simultaneously
  • Be experienced with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar cloud accounting software
