The Role

  • Oversee a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring compliance obligations are met while identifying tax planning and advisory opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients
  • Reviewing and preparing corporate tax computations and CT600 returns
  • Leading corporate tax advisory projects, including structuring and planning
  • Supporting transactions, group reorganisations and R&D claims where relevant
  • Handling complex HMRC enquiries and correspondence
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior tax team members
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser
  • Identifying opportunities to grow the corporate tax service offering

About You

  • Be CTA qualified and/or ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Have strong UK corporate tax experience within accountancy practice
  • Demonstrate expertise in corporate tax compliance and advisory work
  • Be confident managing your own client portfolio
  • Have experience reviewing work and mentoring junior staff
  • Possess strong communication and commercial awareness
