The Role

As Tax Senior, you’ll play a key role in providing a proactive and professional tax service to a wide range of clients, including individuals, partnerships, and owner‑managed businesses. You’ll work closely with managers and partners, contributing to both compliance and advisory assignments.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparing and reviewing personal and corporation tax returns
  • Managing tax compliance processes for your client portfolio, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines
  • Providing support on a range of advisory assignments including restructuring, R&D tax claims, and capital allowance work
  • Assisting with tax planning and providing advice to clients on tax efficiency

About You

You’ll be a driven and detail‑oriented tax professional who enjoys variety and client interaction. Be ATT qualified (or studying towards CTA) with several years’ experience in practice. Have experience managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients. Possess strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be confident working directly with clients and providing practical tax advice. Be organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. Take pride in your work and enjoy contributing to a collaborative team environment. Experience in tax advisory or exposure to projects such as R&D, share schemes, or group restructuring would be beneficial.
