The Role

As Employment Tax Manager, you’ll combine technical expertise with client relationship management, ensuring clients receive practical, commercially sound tax advice. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing employment tax compliance, PAYE, and IR35 projects
  • Advising on benefits in kind, expatriate issues, and workforce planning
  • Providing technical training to colleagues and clients
  • Supporting HMRC enquiries and compliance reviews
  • Leading advisory projects around reward and remuneration planning
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to team growth

About You

You’ll be a technically strong, commercially minded tax professional who enjoys variety and client interaction. You will:

  • Be CTA, ATT, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Have experience in employment tax advisory and compliance
  • Be confident managing client relationships and leading projects
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
