The Role
As Audit Senior, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality audit services while supporting the wider audit team. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading audit fieldwork on‑site and remotely across a range of clients and sectors
- Assisting with audit planning, risk assessments and audit strategies
- Completing audit testing and preparing high‑quality working papers
- Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing guidance and support
- Preparing statutory accounts and supporting schedules where required
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients during audit assignments
- Identifying audit issues and clearly communicating findings to managers
- Ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently and in line with deadlines

About You
You’ll be a capable and motivated audit professional with solid practice experience.
- Be ACA or ACCA qualified, part‑qualified, or qualified by experience
- Have prior experience working in a UK accountancy practice with a strong audit focus
- Be confident leading audit fieldwork and supervising junior staff
- Possess good technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and FRS 102
- Have strong communication skills and a professional client‑facing manner
- Be organised, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Enjoy mentoring others and contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Be keen to progress toward Audit Manager level over time
