Job Purpose- Manage a significant portfolio of personal tax clients, monitoring the commercial aspects of portfolio management
- Preparation of personal self-assessment tax returns
- Undertake R40 tax repayment claims, PAYE settlement agreements, and PAYE tax code reviews
- Manage P11D benefits and expenses
- Handle HMRC disclosures
- Trust and Estate tax, Trust registrations and maintenance of HMRC Trust register, and preparation of R185 statements of Trust and Estate income
- Deliver CGT UK property disposal returns and complex CGT issues relating to M&A and foreign matters
- Maintenance of CCH software
- Mentor junior staff, including reviewing work and providing training
- Monitor team performance, identifying knowledge gaps and providing training as needed
- Work directly with Directors and Partners to ensure deadlines and fee recovery targets are met
- Building trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving
- Keeping up-to-date with tax knowledge, championing knowledge sharing across the team
