Are you a motivated tax professional looking to step into a leadership role within a supportive and progressive firm? A well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Sidcup, Greater London, is seeking an articulate and ambitious Assistant Tax Manager to join its growing Private Client Tax team. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, business owners, trusts, and estates while contributing to a strong advisory function. Working closely with the Tax Partner and senior team, you’ll help deliver high-quality tax compliance and bespoke planning solutions while continuing to develop your technical expertise.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of private clients, including HNWIs, sole traders, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
- Oversee all aspects of personal tax compliance, including Self Assessment tax returns, CGT on UK property, P11D submissions, ATED, and Employment Related Securities filings.
- Liaise with clients and HMRC on a range of tax issues, ensuring excellent service and timely resolution.
- Support the Tax Partner and Manager on ad hoc tax advisory work, including capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trust planning.
- Supervise junior team members, reviewing their work and assisting in their development.
