In this Audit Manager job in Glasgow, you will:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of audit engagements, ensuring smooth delivery from planning to completion
  • Manage client relationships, acting as their trusted advisor on audit and financial matters
  • Design and implement tailored audit strategies to meet clients' needs and regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical expertise and solve complex financial reporting challenges
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring their professional development
  • Ensure audits are conducted efficiently, meeting deadlines and budgets
  • Support business growth initiatives, including identifying cross-selling opportunities and attending networking events
  • Uphold compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and audit regulations, ensuring quality and accuracy in all work

Candidate Requirements:

  • ACA/CA/ACCA qualified with significant experience in a UK audit role
  • Strong knowledge of UK auditing standards and regulations
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team
  • Exceptional client relationship and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to provide strategic insights and advice
