We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected accountancy practice in Congleton. Known for their client-first ethos and supportive working environment, they are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their friendly team. Role Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
- Deliver proactive tax planning advice across areas such as income tax, corporation tax, capital gains, inheritance tax, and more
- Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and build long-term advisory relationships
- Support and train junior staff and contribute to the wider development of the tax department
- Stay up to date on tax legislation changes and ensure best practices are followed

Candidate Requirements

- Have significant experience in personal and corporate tax compliance and advisory
- Be comfortable managing your own portfolio with minimal supervision
- Be a confident communicator who can explain complex tax matters clearly to clients
- Enjoy working as part of a close-knit, collaborative team
