Tax Manager
Are you an experienced personal tax professional looking to step into a rewarding role with clear career progression?
A well-established and respected accountancy and advisory firm based in Ferndown is seeking a Personal Tax Manager to join their growing private client tax team. You’ll manage a varied portfolio of clients including high-net-worth individuals, property investors, business owners, and trusts, delivering expert advice and high-quality compliance services.

Role Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients and trusts, overseeing the timely preparation and submission of tax returns
- Acting as the key point of contact for your clients, building strong and lasting relationships
- Providing expert advice on a range of matters including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trust taxation
- Supporting junior staff members through mentoring, technical guidance, and review of their work
- Identifying planning opportunities and supporting the delivery of advisory work
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards
- Liaising with HMRC and handling client correspondence related to enquiries and disclosures

Candidate Requirements
- ATT and/or CTA qualified (or QBE with significant relevant experience)
- Proven experience managing a personal tax portfolio within a practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of personal tax, trusts, and estate planning
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities
- A proactive, client-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members is desirable
