This is a fantastic opportunity for a Semi Senior Accountant to join a supportive firm in Worcester.
You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues, develop your technical knowledge, and progress your studies with plenty of hands‑on experience.
The Role
As Semi Senior Accountant, you’ll support the accounts team in delivering high‑quality services to a varied portfolio of clients. You’ll gain exposure across accounts, tax, and general practice work, making this an excellent opportunity for professional development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
- Assisting with management accounts and bookkeeping assignments.
- Preparing VAT returns and supporting compliance processes.
- Assisting with personal and corporation tax returns.
- Liaising with clients to request information and resolve queries.
- Supporting senior colleagues with technical assignments.
- Progressing toward ACA/ACCA qualification with full study support.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified.
- Have previous experience working in a practice environment.
- Possess strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and VAT.
- Be eager to continue professional studies and build a long-term career in practice.
- Be confident in communicating with clients and colleagues.
- Have a positive attitude, good organisational skills, and a strong work ethic.
