What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting a broad mix of owner-managed businesses, from innovative start-ups to well-established local players.
  • Helping clients stay in control of their numbers and compliant with regulations, all while building strong professional relationships.
  • Preparing year-end accounts and statutory financial statements.
  • Producing management accounts and VAT returns.
  • Processing bookkeeping records and ensuring financial data accuracy.
  • Assisting clients with day-to-day finance queries and providing proactive support.

What We’re Looking For

  • AAT qualified or studying toward AAT/ACA/ACCA.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in an accountancy practice environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based tools like Sage, QuickBooks, Xero or IRIS (bonus).
  • Excellent attention to detail and solid communication skills.
