The Role
- Lead the delivery of all tax services across a diverse and highâvalue client portfolio, driving the firmâs tax strategy, ensuring technical excellence, and leading a team of experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the tax department across compliance, advisory, and consultancy services.
- Manage a portfolio of highâprofile clients, including corporate groups, entrepreneurs, and highânetâworth individuals.
- Provide advanced tax planning and advisory services, including business restructuring, acquisitions and disposals, succession planning, and share incentive schemes.
- Offer strategic guidance on corporate tax, personal tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and R&D reliefs.
- Act as the key technical lead for complex tax issues, providing solutions to clients and partners.
- Drive business development initiatives, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to the firmâs overall strategic plan.
- Oversee and mentor the tax team to ensure continuous professional development and technical excellence.
- Represent the firm externally, enhancing its reputation as a trusted adviser to ambitious businesses.
- Ensure full compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements.
About You
- CTA qualified (ACA/ACCA qualification also beneficial).
- Significant postâqualification experience in a senior tax role within practice.
- Deep technical expertise across corporate and personal tax.
- Proven success in delivering complex tax advisory projects.
- Strong track record in managing and developing teams.
- Commercially aware, with a talent for identifying and converting business opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
