If you’ve got 2+ years of audit and/or accounts experience in practice and are currently working towards your ACA or ACCA qualification, this is a brilliant opportunity to develop your career in a supportive and ambitious environment.

The Role
The firm offers a flexible approach and can tailor responsibilities around your strengths. Your typical duties could include:
- Preparing year-end accounts for companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Supporting and undertaking management accounts work
- Taking a key role in audits, ensuring high standards throughout the assignment
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns for smaller clients
- Handling VAT returns and client queries
- Preparing personal tax returns
- Managing your own client portfolio and maintaining strong communication
- Drafting audit planning memorandums and applying appropriate audit testing
- Supervising and supporting junior team members as needed
- Ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and in line with firm procedures
About You
- Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (or working towards it)
- At least 2 years’ experience in an audit/accounts role within practice
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- A solid understanding of accounts preparation and audit principles
- Experience with software such as Excel, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or Caseware (desirable)
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- A proactive and team-oriented attitude
