The Role
As Audit Director, you will lead the audit department, managing a significant portfolio of clients and contributing to the strategic growth of the firm.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and overseeing audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Managing client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Reviewing audit files to ensure compliance with auditing standards.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the audit team.
- Working closely with Partners to set and deliver departmental strategy.
- Identifying business development opportunities and winning new work.
- Providing technical expertise on complex audit matters.
About You
- ACA/ACCA qualified with extensive audit experience in practice.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage and develop a team.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
- Commercially astute with a track record of building client relationships.
- Strategic thinker with ambition to play a long-term role in the firm\'s leadership.
