What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage audit engagements from initial planning to final review
- Coordinate on-site resources, allocate tasks, and manage timelines
- Ensure audit quality and compliance with all regulatory standards
- Mentor and review the work of junior team members, offering coaching and feedback
- Produce clear, well-documented audit findings reports for manager/director review
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates and issue resolution
- Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless and professional client experience
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and cross-team working
About You
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Experience managing audits within a UK accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge of FRS and IFRS standards
- Excellent organisational and risk assessment skills
- Confident communication skills and client-facing experience
- A collaborative, hands-on approach to teamwork
- Experience using CaseWare and CCH is advantageous but not essential
